James Farmer
James Farmer is a consultant, writer, technologist, teacher and person living and (sometimes) working in Melbourne Australia.
After figuring out just after graduation that English Literature wasn’t really his calling he’s been a teacher, trainer, lecturer and consultant in the UK, Japan and Australia.
He has worked extensively with educational and commercial organisations developing innovative, sustainable and effective strategies and implementations of online technologies, progressive pedagogies and communication.
He’s the author of incorporated subversion and Blogsavvy (obviously), the founder of IncSub, edublogs.org and a co-founder of Blogtalk Downunder.
He’s authored several acclaimed papers on blogging including Communication dynamics: Discussion boards, weblogs and the development of communities of inquiry in online learning environments and Centred Communication: Weblogs and aggregation in the organisation and is currently working on a chapter for the upcoming book, Uses of Blogs.
He reads (not enough) likes wandering by rivers (also not enough) and finds it a bit odd writing about himself in the third person, but does it anyway.
